What We Do

Our primary purpose is three-fold:

  1. Meeting people where they are in their recovery

  2. Helping them to achieve sobriety

  3. Introducing them back into the community as healthy, productive individuals

How it Works

The process begins with an assessment of the individual’s specific needs with our lead counselor, Addiction Therapist Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Larry Mabry.

Larry will create a customized treatment strategy to address unique problems, treatment goals, and a time-specific action plan.

Key components include one-on-one, group sessions, and life skills coaching.

One-on-one Sessions

These are designed to provide skills that empower the individual to take ownership of their own recovery.

  • Managing anger and stress

  • Recognizing depression and anxiety triggers

  • Gaining self-esteem

  • Adding 12-step programs as a place to find healthy relationships and to provide ongoing support

Group Sessions

These sessions create a safe space to focus on real-life recovery issues.

  • Recognizing anger triggers

  • Improving communication skills

  • Setting healthy boundaries

  • Replacing unhealthy relationships with authentic friendships

Life Skills Coaching

Coaching is focused on learning skills to become a healthy, productive individual in the community.

  • Determining jobs best suited for each person

  • Learning how to find such jobs

  • Writing resumes, applying for jobs, and interviewing skills

  • Improving money management
